Katrina spent most of her growing years in the Philippines, but at the age of 16 moved back to Virginia where she was born, to finish her high school education.  New York City then became home as she pursued her BA in Visual Arts at Fordham University and continued on to work as a designer at an architectural firm.  She has since explored other passions, such as surveying and reviewing beautiful hotels and producing artistic events to name a few.

Her interests involve a surprisingly large spectrum: she enjoys traveling to impoverished communities to provide help just as much as she relishes luxurious spa sessions and hotel suites;  she craves cheap street eats just as much as she hankers after 7-course tastings; she prides herself in a good shopping bargain as much as she relishes a bank-busting fashion "investment."

A recent stint as a waitress opened her eyes to a strong interest in the culinary world and now, she dreams of someday opening her own restaurant. Or turning into a food/travel/fashion/design writer. Or maybe even hosting her own food/travel show. Or all of the above.

These days, one can find her living in Brooklyn with her beloved pooch Yoshi, most likely karaoke-ing her heart out, filling her closets with more and more chic finds, dreaming up elaborate trips to faraway cities, filming funny shorts with creative peers, setting up shop for pop-up restaurant Corazon of which she is a partner, learning new languages, noshing on exotic fare and imbibing on inventive cocktails, but most definitely planning her next adventure.
